FORUMS TERMS OF SERVICE / RULES & GUIDELINES At Project Youthquake we believe that youth should have a space where they have unrestricted access and freedom to share their thoughts and ideas. While we uphold and stand by these values, Project Youthquake asks all users to abide by the forum rules and values in order to ensure a safe and open space for all youth. Project Youthquake reserves rights for the final say in modifying, interpreting and enforcing these rules. Please make sure that you familiarize yourself with these rules and check them as they may be updated periodically.
FORUM GUIDELINE - DO:
1.Be Bold: We ask all everyone that interacts with our platform to be bold and put themselves out there. We encourage you to meet new people, engage in conversations that challenge and excite you and manifest bold actions that create meaningful change within your community.
2.Engage With People: Utilize the ability to be able to connect with people from all over the world! Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself or tag yourself into a conversation - we encourage this and hope that you even create connections and long-lasting relationships. Who knows? Maybe you can meet youth activists in person!
3.Use Good Judgement: Please be aware of what you post and your true intentions of posting. But even with good intentions if we find that your post(s) violate our rules and guidelines in any way then we will take action accordingly.
4.Post In Relevant Sections: When making posts please make sure that you post them in the relevant sections. Make sure that wherever you make a post or comment that it is on topic and relevant.
FORUM GUIDELINE - DON’T:
1.Do Not Spam: When posting, please be mindful and do not spam posts. Spamming can get really annoying especially if it is multiple posts or threads of the same content over and over again.
2.Do Not Post Inappropriate / Harmful Content: We will not tolerate inappropriate or harmful content in any form. This includes obscene, explicit, offensive and vulgar language, images, and/or messages.
3.Do Not Spread False or Misinformation: Please do not post information that is false or misleading especially if this is information about a user or person in general.
4.Do Not Be Disrespectful: We will not tolerate any form of disrespect while using our platform. This means that we will not tolerate racism, anti-Blackness, sexism, transmisogyny, transphobia, misogyny, anti-semitism, xenephobia, fatphobia, dis/ableism, homophobia, and any other form of hate, discrimination or bigotry especially against marginalized communities while you use our platform and forum. You will be handled accordingly.
